MG Motor India has officially launched Windsor priced from INR 13,49,800 (ex-showroom). The pricing does not include the optional Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which has now further extended to MG Motor’s other EV models. The Windsor comes equipped with a 38 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering an ARAI-certified range of 332 km on a single charge. The vehicle is powered by a 100 kW motor, offering 134 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque. It features four driving modes—Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport—providing flexibility for different driving conditions. The battery pack is IP67 certified, ensuring durability in various weather conditions.
The Windsor also offers several customer incentives, including a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner and one year of free public charging through the eHUB by MG app. However, these benefits are limited to the first 1,000 bookings, with additional offers such as a 60% buyback guarantee after three years or 45,000 kilometres.

Notable features include a 15.6-inch touchscreen display, Aero Lounge seats that recline up to 135 degrees, and an Infinity View Glass Roof, aimed at enhancing the driving experience. However, while the feature set is impressive, the practicality of these luxury elements in everyday urban commuting remains to be seen. For many, the additional costs tied to maintaining such high-end features may outweigh the benefits, particularly in a market where cost-conscious buyers dominate.
The Windsor’s exterior is characterised by its AeroGlide design language, intended to blend futuristic aesthetics with aerodynamic efficiency. The vehicle will be available in four colours: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green.
