Leading global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking, aftermarket, and electric powertrain solutions for commercial vehicle and industrial markets - Meritor has on Monday announced the appointment of Thimmaiah Napanda as Vice President of Asia Pacific effective October 1, 2021.
Napanda was most recently Vice President of India and Australia for the company. In this expanded role, he will lead and successfully execute Meritor’s business strategy in the Asia Pacific, the company said in a statement.
Ken Hogan, Senior Vice President and President, Meritor Truck, Europe and Asia Pacific, said, “Thimmaiah has nearly three decades of industry experience during which time he has made a significant mark on the industry. During his nine years with Meritor, he has grown the business, strengthened relationships, and exceeded expectations for customer quality, cost and delivery. We look forward to his leadership of the company’s interests in the Asia Pacific region.”
