Mercedes Benz India has launched the facelift of A Class limousine available in A 200 form at INR 45.80 lakh, ex-showroom, India and AMG A45 S 4Matic+ available at INR 92.50 lakh. The company noted that the facelift version of A 200d will be available in Q4CY23.
The A 200 gets a redesign for the headlamps and taillights, redesigned grille and a new 17-inch alloy wheel. On the inside, the sedan gets touch controls for the steering wheel and keyless-go, while the infotainment system now gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Santosh Iyer, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, noted that launching the A-Class Limousine was a strategic decision, leading to an outstanding customer response to the limousine.
The AMG A 45 S 4Matic+, on the other hand, gets redesigned headlights with an AMG-specific grille, while the cabin sees new aluminium AMG design Trim elements in black or silver. Meanwhile, the infotainment system now gets the latest generation of the MBUX infotainment system – NTG7. This enables new graphics and pushes the limits of intuitive in-car experience. The driver and central displays create a holistic, aesthetic experience and can be customised as desired with the help of the newly designed display styles. The new AMG-specific graphics, such as the AMG Dynamic Select, elevate the driving experience.
“Launching the AMG A 45 S 4Matic + hatchback reiterates our commitment of offering the ‘One Man, One Engine’ driving performance experience to our customers,” Iyer added.
