Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Vision One-Eleven, an innovative concept car that reimagines the future of automotive design and technology. The global debut took place at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, with the supercar’s striking silhouette drawing immediate attention.
Defined by the brand's signature One-Bow design, the Vision One-Eleven is a testament to Mercedes-Benz's legacy as a symbol of iconic luxury. This cutting-edge concept vehicle features a sleek, aerodynamic body aimed at reducing drag and maximising performance, powered by a state-of-the-art electric powertrain that delivers both rapid acceleration and impressive top speeds.
Inspired by the legendary C 111 experimental vehicles of the 1960s and 70s, the Vision One-Eleven combines retro aesthetics—like its gullwing doors and iconic design—with advanced technology. Lightweight materials, such as carbon fibre and alloys, enhance its performance while embodying sustainability. Inside, the minimalist, high-quality interior balances elegance and futuristic functionality, with advanced infotainment systems and autonomous driving technology offering an unparalleled experience.
The Vision One-Eleven introduces groundbreaking innovations, including a high-performance battery concept with liquid-cooled cylindrical cells developed by motorsport specialists at Mercedes-AMG High-Performance Powertrain in Brixworth. The vehicle also features two advanced axial-flux motors that deliver improved power density while occupying just one-third of the weight and space of conventional radial-flux motors, redefining design possibilities for electric vehicles.
Lance Bennett, VP – Sales and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India, said the company has been showcasing some of the most iconic concept cars which are avantgarde in design, alluring with their emotive design language and reiterating the unmatched desirability of the brand to customers. Audiences across age groups enjoy these stunning displays.
Sustainability is central to the Vision One-Eleven, with eco-friendly materials and processes integrated into its design and manufacturing. This aligns with Mercedes-Benz’s broader commitment to environmental responsibility, setting a new benchmark for sustainable luxury mobility.
