Mercedes-Benz India has launched the top-spec all-electric EQE 500 4MATIC at an ex-showroom price of INR 1.39 crore. The EQE further expands the company’s BEV line-up for the Indian market from the global portfolio.
The new vehicle comes with a 90.56kWh high energy density battery capable of 300kw and 858Nm torque. Boasting its performance stats, the EQE 500 can achieve a top speed of 210kmph and a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 4.9 seconds.
Equipped with air-suspension, the vehicle provides enhanced comfort and can be raised by 25mm should the need arise. The transparent bonnet feature aiding off-road driving situations uses artificial intelligence and a 360-degree camera to produce a virtual view under the vehicle, allowing careful steering inputs.
Mercedes-Benz also highlighted that components weighing more than 70kg have been made from recycled materials, as sustainability is one of the top priorities for the brand.

All EV customers in India across brands, can now enjoy the Mercedes-Benz experience while using our charging network” mentioned Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India. The company currently has more than 140 charging stations across the country, including AC, 60 kW DC Fast Chargers, and 180 kW DC ultra-fast chargers.
The new ‘Customer Experience Centre’ will offer a curated experience for Mercedes-Benz customers by offering personalised consultation, guided factory tours, and an opportunity to experience the off-roading prowess of their cars on the ‘SUV Track’. The customers can utilise the facility for the first time for special car deliveries. All Mercedes-Benz top-end-vehicle customers can avail of the ‘Customer Experience Centre’ to host their own associates and guests for corporate events subject to terms and conditions.
