
Mercedes-Benz India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, to drive innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship within India's startup ecosystem.
Under the MoU, Mercedes-Benz India will work closely with DPIIT to support startups by providing infrastructure, mentorship, funding access, and market linkages. The partnership aligns with the Government of India's Startup India initiative, ensuring broader reach and greater participation from emerging innovators and entrepreneurs.
Speaking on the partnership, Mercedes-Benz India emphasized its focus on fostering cutting-edge innovations, particularly in mobility, clean energy, and sustainable practices, contributing to India’s economic and technological progress. This initiative strengthens Mercedes-Benz’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and social impact, reinforcing its role as an industry leader in responsible and future-focused business practices.
