Mercedes-Benz India has announced the launch of two exclusive top-end vehicles, the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance ‘Edition 1’ and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC SUV. The AMG S 63 E Performance ‘Edition 1’ marks the return of the S-Class in an exclusive AMG variant, touted as the most powerful S-Class ever. It boasts a 4.0L V8 Biturbo engine paired with an electric motor to deliver 791 bhp. This performance hybrid saloon offers a unique driving experience, featuring seven AMG driving modes and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. The exclusive ‘Edition 1’ is characterised by MANUFAKTUR alpine grey paintwork, 21-inch AMG forged wheels, and AMG-specific dynamic diamond stitching.
On the other hand, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC SUV combines the GLS SUV’s body design and technical basis with the luxury of a sedan. The Maybach GLS 600 comes with high-quality materials, including a Burmester surround sound system, MBUX High-End Rear Seat Entertainment System, and MULTIBEAM LED with high beam assist. Priced at INR 3.35 crore, it features a 4.0-litre V8 engine producing 549 bhp, with an additional 22 bhp boost from the Integrated Starter Generator.
