The British supercar maker McLaren Automotive has confirmed its entry into the Indian market with the first retail outlet scheduled in October in Mumbai.
Interestingly, India will be the 41st global territory for McLaren and forms a key part of the marque’s global expansion plans while expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific region, a press release from the carmaker stated.
The release added that McLaren plans to bring its complete range of supercars to India, namely, GT, Artura, 720S coupe and Spider, along with 765LT coupe and spider.
Besides, the carmaker also plans to provide customers with full levels of support, offering sales, aftersales and servicing on the complete range of McLaren models.
Paul Harris, Managing Director – APAC and China, McLaren Automotive, said, “India remains an important market where our fans and select clientele can enjoy the best of McLaren in Mumbai.”
He added that McLaren has appointed Infinity Cars, owned by Lalit Choudhary as its first official retail partner in Mumbai, India.
Choudhary said, “As a globally renowned supercar manufacturer, McLaren is the pinnacle of modern supercar luxury.”
