Maserati has announced a new customised version of its latest model, the GranCabrio Folgore, a fully electric luxury convertible. This exclusive creation, named the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello, is a collaboration with the Italian winery Marchesi Antinori to mark the 50th anniversary of their iconic Tignanello wine. The bespoke vehicle will be auctioned at the prestigious Festival Napa Valley’s Arts for All Gala on 14 July, with proceeds going to charity.
The vehicle delivers high performance while maintaining the comfort and elegance typical of Maserati. The GranCabrio Folgore offers four true seats, a soft top, and innovative features such as a neck warmer and wind stopper, ensuring a comfortable ride even in cooler weather.
The Terra di Tignanello paint, a chestnut colour inspired by the vineyard’s soil, features a coppery burgundy hue reminiscent of Tignanello’s wine barrels. The vehicle’s rims and callipers are finished in matte and gloss black, while the emblems are highlighted in glossy copper.
The interior of the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello features leather seats with a multi-material silver and burgundy weave made from Vegea, an innovative fabric derived from vineyards. This material is used for the first time in a Maserati car, symbolising the rows of vines on the Tignanello hill. Dark briar wood with laser-etched details decorates the panels, while the headrests feature embroidered Maserati Tridents combined with Tignanello’s sun emblem, commemorating the wine’s 50-year history.
