Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has revealed its ambitious electric mobility vision, ‘e For Me’. This comprehensive strategy marks the company’s official entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market and showcases a dual focus on innovative electric products and a supportive ecosystem to ease the transition to sustainable mobility in India.
At the heart of this vision is the e VITARA, Maruti Suzuki’s first eBorn SUV, designed and manufactured in India for both domestic and international markets. The e VITARA, set to debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Show 2025, symbolises the company’s commitment to catering to the unique needs of Indian customers while aligning with global sustainability goals.
Maruti Suzuki’s strategy goes beyond simply launching electric vehicles. Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer for Marketing and Sales, stated “Our ‘e For Me’ vision is a transformative step in India’s journey towards electric mobility. This approach focuses on creating a seamless and customer-friendly transition to EVs, encompassing not just vehicles but the entire infrastructure needed to support them.”
