The next generation of Maruti Suzuki’s popular MPV, Ertiga, which is scheduled to be launched on April 21, 2022, can now be booked for an amount of INR 11,000, the country’s leading carmaker has announced.
The updated MPV would feature a range of new technology offerings, including the next gen K-Series 1.5 litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology. Furthermore, it will also feature an advanced 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, the company confirmed. The top trim ZXI variant will also be available with the S-CNG option.
The interiors, meanwhile, will also feature updated Suzuki Connect and a 17.78 cm (7-inch) SmartPlay Pro touch screen infotainment system, among others.
Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said the next-gen Ertiga will have thoughtful new-age features, an upgraded powertrain and advanced 6-speed automatic transmission.”

The MPV has been a hot seller for the company and has done pretty well in the challenging India market conditions. The company claims to have sold more than 7,50,000 units of the vehicle since its launch in 2013.
