Leading carmaker Maruti Suzuki India on Monday announced the reintroduction of its SUV brand Grand Vitara in a new avatar and is set to unveil the product on July 20, 2022.
Based on the newly unveiled Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the new SUV from MSIL is currently open for booking at INR 11,000. Earlier in June, the company announced that the new product will feature the 1.5 K series petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology.
Other notable features to be carried forward from other products from the stable include a 360 view camera, head-up display, nine-inch smartpro infotainment system, LED projector headlamp, twin LED daytime running lamp, ambient light and panoramic sunroof, among others.
Set to enter production from August 2022 onwards, the SUV will be retailed through the company’s premium Nexa channel, a press release from the company stated.
