In line with market demand, India’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday launched an industry-first based 24x7 virtual car assistant app called “S-Assist” for its NEXA customers.

According to the company S-Assist, a scan and voice-enabled virtual car assistant maximises the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide clients with an immersive online post-purchase experience.

The complimentary service provides benefits like multi-media content like DIY (Do-it-yourself) videos, digital literature, and workshop assistance; easy and quick navigation to a digital copy of the vehicle owner’s manual. Picture search enables a car owner to take pictures of any vehicle part on their smartphone, upload and the app gives instant explanation and access to over 4,120 Maruti Suzuki workshops across India.

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Director, Service, Maruti Suzuki India, said, “We are proud to announce the launch of India’s first voice-enabled virtual car assistant, S-Assist, to strengthen the digital experience of our customers.”

The virtual car assistant app will be available to Maruti Suzuki NEXA customers via the “Maruti Suzuki Rewards” smartphone app, available on iOS and Android devices.
