In a significant achievement, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) announced the sale of one million units of its Ertiga, marking a milestone in the mid-size MPV segment. The Ertiga, known for its strong performance, stylish appeal, and advanced technology features, has become a preferred choice for Indian families.

Notably, 41% of Ertiga buyers are first-time customers for the MPV, primarily driven by the rise in younger urban customers. The Ertiga holds a strong 37.5% segment market share, appealing to customers across both urban and rural markets.
The top-end variants of the vehicle have garnered attention for their advanced features, including a 17.78 cm (7-inch) Smartplay Pro Touchscreen Infotainment System, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, MID with Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Suzuki Connect with 40+ features, remote A/C, Automatic Headlamps, Cruise Control, and Machined Two-Tone Alloy Wheels.
The MPV excels in utility spaces, offering air-cooled cup holders, front-row armrest with a utility box, bottle holders, and accessory sockets in each row. The second-row roof-mounted AC for rear passengers ensures a comfortable experience, complemented by the innovative design of third-row seats with reclining and flat-fold functionality.
Under the hood, the Ertiga is powered by the Next-Gen K-series 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology, offering a fuel efficiency of up to 20.51 km/l. The CNG powertrain further enhances efficiency, delivering 26.11 km/kg. The Ertiga's 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters has made it the preferred choice for consumers seeking a blend of performance and convenience. Beyond India, the vehicle has gained global acclaim, with exports to over 80 countries.
