Maruti Suzuki India announced that it sold 465,911 vehicles during Q3FY23, with domestic sales of 403,929 units and exports of 61,982 units. This helped the company to generate INR 27849.2 crore.
Between April and December 2022, the company sold 1,451,237 units. Sales in the domestic market stood at 1,256,623 units, while exports were at 194,614 units.
Interestingly, the company registered its highest-ever net sales of INR 81,679 crore during the same period.
A press release from the vehicle maker noted that the shortage of semiconductors hampered the production figures by 46,000 units in Q3FY23. However, during the same quarter last year, the carmaker sold 430,668 units comprising 365,673 units in domestic and 64,995 units in export markets.
