In a bid to celebrate Independence Day, MapmyIndia Mappls has added new features to its app to show physical flag hoistings, memorials to freedom fighters, and gardens.
Under Har Ghar Tirangaa, Mappls has ‘In flag’ enabled lakh of households and locations on the map. Under ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’, the map will feature stories and memorials of freedom fighters who are from the particular area and also share photos and info of gardens and tree plantings done to celebrate not just India’s past but also a better, more beautiful future for India.
