As Mahindra prepares to officially open bookings for all nine variants of its highly anticipated electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, on February 14, 2025, at 9 AM, the company is undertaking a comprehensive revamp of its dealerships and service infrastructure. This strategic enhancement aims to elevate the customer experience while ensuring its network is fully equipped to meet the evolving demands of electric mobility.
During a press conference announcing the Q3 FY25 results, Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director & CEO (Auto and Farm Sector), M&M, talked about the company’s strategic shift towards enhancing the customer experience for its upcoming electric SUVs. He highlighted that the BE 6 and XEV 9e, with their cutting-edge technology and innovative features, demand a new level of service excellence, prompting Mahindra to elevate its dealership and after-sales ecosystem.
“We are enhancing our showroom experience and upgrading our workshops with highly trained manpower and advanced analytical diagnostic tools. This will enable us to provide superior service quality and efficiently address the needs of our new EV customers,” he added.
The BE 6 and XEV 9e, catering to diverse price segments, offer multiple battery capacities and feature configurations, giving customers a broad spectrum of choices. To ensure seamless customer experience, Mahindra is rolling out bookings across 250+ dealerships nationwide, he mentioned.
The BE 6 and XEV 9e will be available in five distinct packages, each offering a unique mix of battery capacity, features, and performance levels.
- Pack One (59 kWh battery) is priced at INR18.90 lakh (BE 6) and INR 21.90 lakh (XEV 9e), with deliveries commencing in August 2025.
- Pack One Above (59 kWh) costs INR 20.50 lakh for the BE 6, but is not available for the XEV 9e.
- Pack Two (59 kWh) is priced at INR 21.90 lakh (BE 6) and INR 24.90 lakh (XEV 9e), with deliveries beginning in July 2025.
- Pack Three Select is available for INR 24.50 lakh (BE 6) and INR 27.90 lakh (XEV 9e).
- Pack Three, the top-end variant with a larger 79 kWh battery, is priced at INR 26.90 lakh (BE 6) and INR 30.50 lakh (XEV 9e), with deliveries starting in mid-March 2025.
Customers can also opt for home charging solutions, with a 7.2 kW charger priced at ₹50,000 and an 11.2 kW unit at INR 75,000.
With its unique EV strategy, extensive dealership upgrades, and a strong focus on customer experience, Mahindra aims to notch the status of key player in India’s electric vehicle market.
