Mahindra is set to showcase its next chapter in electric mobility with the unveiling of two highly anticipated electric SUVs—BE 6e and XEV 9e—on November 26, 2024, at the ‘Unlimit India World Premiere’ in Chennai.
The teaser for these bold design hints at a significant fusion of innovation, aesthetics, and technology, reflecting the OEM’s evolving vision for sustainable mobility.
This marks Mahindra's fourth major launch this year, following the releases of the XUV 3XO, Thar ROXX, and the Veero. The BE 6e and XEV 9e, built on Mahindra’s INGLO Electric Origin Architecture, promise to redefine standards in design, performance, and customer experience.
INGLO: The Foundation Of Next-Gen Mobility
Both SUVs will be underpinned by the INGLO Electric Origin Architecture, a platform designed in India with a global outlook. Prioritising lightweight structures and optimised cabin space, the INGLO platform integrates advanced technology to enhance performance, safety, and comfort.
The flat-floor skateboard design is a standout feature, eliminating the central tunnel to maximise cabin flexibility and stability. The modular and scalable architecture allows for seamless adaptation across various vehicle models while maintaining high standards of quality. With battery capacities of 59 kWh and 79 kWh, the INGLO platform ensures long-range capability, while its LFP battery chemistry enables rapid charging from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a 175 kW DC charger.
What the SUVs Promise
The XEV 9e aims to set a new benchmark in electric luxury. Combining elegance with cutting-edge technology, this SUV is designed to deliver an experience that redefines expectations. On the other hand, the BE 6e promises bold, athletic performance, showcasing Mahindra’s craftsmanship and its commitment to pushing boundaries in automotive design.
Both vehicles are expected to create a unique blend of Indian engineering and global competitiveness, representing the automaker’s focus on quality, innovation, and customer-centric solutions.
Shaping Future Mobility
The BE 6e and XEV 9e are poised to elevate Mahindra’s presence in the electric vehicle market. With the unveiling just days away, the teaser has been sparking excitement, hinting at a promising future where technology and design seamlessly converge to redefine mobility.
