The Thar ROXX made history as the first body-on-frame SUV to achieve a 5-star rating under Bharat-NCAP, receiving the highest overall score ever awarded to an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle in the programme. With 31.09/32 in adult occupant protection (AOP) and 45/49 in child occupant protection (COP), the Thar ROXX proves to safer vehicle in addition to performance.
Following closely, the XUV 3XO, Mahindra’s popular compact SUV, also demonstrated top-tier safety credentials. Scoring 29.36/32 in AOP and 43/49 in COP, the XUV 3XO has set a new benchmark for compact SUV safety, equipped with extensive safety features that underscore the OEMs focus on offering family-friendly and safe vehicles. Meanwhile, the XUV400, Mahindra's first fully electric SUV, scored 30.377/32 in AOP and 43/49 in COP, establishing itself as one of the safest electric vehicles on Indian roads.

The XUV400 has been created to lead the charge in electric vehicle safety as it brings comprehensive safety features to the rapidly evolving EV market. Equipped with six airbags, ISOFIX anchors, and all-around disc brakes, the XUV400 is built to safeguard its occupants, while a reverse camera with adaptive guidelines enhances driver control.
