Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) reported impressive growth in its auto sales for November 2023. The Utility Vehicles segment played a pivotal role in this growth, with 39,981 vehicles sold in the domestic market, reflecting a remarkable 32% increase. The total sales in this category, including exports, amounted to 40,764 vehicles. Additionally, Mahindra recorded sales of 22,211 Commercial Vehicles in the domestic market.
Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M, attributed this positive performance to the robust demand for Mahindra's SUV portfolio. Nakra stated, 'In November, we sold a total of 39,981 units, a growth of 32%. While we saw a healthy festive season, we faced supply challenges on select parts during the month. We are keeping a close watch and taking appropriate steps to mitigate the challenges.'

Commercial Vehicles and 3 Wheelers Sales Summary (Domestic) – November 2023:
-LCV < 2T: 4,083 units sold, a substantial growth of 54%.
-LCV 2T – 3.5T: 17,284 units sold, a 7% increase.
-LCV > 3.5T + MHCV: 844 units sold, showing a growth of 12%.
-3 Wheelers (including electric 3Ws): 6,568 units sold, indicating a growth of 26%.
The total exports reached 1,816 units, reflecting a decline of 42%.
Mahindra's consistent growth in the SUV segment and the positive trajectory in commercial vehicles showcase the brand's resilience in the market. Despite supply challenges, the company remains vigilant, taking proactive measures to address constraints and sustain its growth momentum.
