Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has sold over 200,000 electric vehicles to date. This achievement reinforces Mahindra’s leadership in India’s L5 small commercial EV segment where the company holds a commanding 41.2% market share according to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

In recognition of its customer base and to mark this milestone, MLMML has introduced the UDAY NXT loyalty programme. This new initiative offers a INR 20 lakh driver accidental insurance cover to new vehicle buyers, along with added benefits such as career counselling for customers’ children and financial advice. The programme is an expansion of Mahindra’s original UDAY programme.

The L5 segment has witnessed substantial growth in EV penetration, increasing from 7.6% in FY23 to 21.7% year-to-date in FY25, as per Vahan data. Mahindra has played a notable role in this shift selling over 100,000 electric vehicles in the past 17 months. These vehicles are part of Mahindra’s strategy to provide reliable, cost-effective EV options to India’s growing urban and suburban delivery networks.

The company’s commitment to expanding the reach and reliability of its EVs is evident in its extensive network of manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Haridwar, and Zaheerabad. These facilities have ramped up production to meet rising demand and deliver cutting-edge small commercial EVs that improve operational efficiency and reduce emissions.

Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of MLMML, described the achievement as a testament to Mahindra’s innovative approach to last-mile logistics, pointing to the company’s “collaborative, agile, and bold” efforts to redefine the small commercial EV landscape.
