Mahindra - Gaana

Mahindra has joined Gaana to integrate Dolby Atmos technology into its latest electric SUVs, the BE 6e and XEV 9e. This partnership promises to transform the in-car audio experience, blending its cutting-edge vehicle design with Gaana’s premium music streaming capabilities.

Music has always been a driving companion, shaping journeys and enhancing experiences. With Gaana seamlessly integrated into Mahindra’s electric SUVs, passengers can now enjoy an immersive audio experience powered by Dolby Atmos. This technology delivers better clarity, spatial precision, and depth, effectively turning the car’s cabin into a dynamic sound arena, a press release from the company stated.

As India’s leading audio streaming platform, Gaana offers an extensive library of Indian and international music, exclusive audio shows from Mirchi, and a wide array of podcasts. With features like playlist import, party mode, song detection, and screen casting, Gaana enhances usability for audiophiles. Its ability to stream Dolby Atmos content positions it as a leader in premium audio services, elevating the standards of in-car infotainment.

Having transitioned entirely behind a paywall in September 2022, Gaana has reinforced its place as India’s top subscription-based audio platform. Under the leadership of Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), Gaana continues to thrive as a symbol of innovation in a competitive digital landscape.

Yatish Mehrishi, CEO of Entertainment Network India Limited, said, “By integrating Dolby Atmos with Mahindra’s cutting-edge electric vehicles, we’re setting a new standard for in-car entertainment. This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering premium audio experiences that meet the evolving needs of today’s consumers.”
