Mahindra has unveiled the INGLO Electric Origin Architecture purpose-built electric platform that will underpin the new BE 6e and XEV 9e SUVs. This architecture integrates advanced design and technology to redefine electric mobility. INGLO is designed to prioritise lightweight structures, superior cabin space, enhanced performance, and safety.
The INGLO platform features a flat-floor skateboard design eliminating the central tunnel to maximise cabin space. This innovation enhances comfort, flexibility, and stability. Its modular and scalable nature enables Mahindra to accommodate diverse vehicle models without compromising quality or performance. The architecture also boasts robust battery options, with capacities of 59 kWh and 79 kWh, providing exceptional range and fast-charging capabilities. Using LFP battery chemistry, INGLO can charge from 20% to 80% in 20 minutes with a 175 kW DC charger ensuring convenience.
The battery placement lowers the vehicle's centre of gravity, improving stability and handling. A reinforced structural design integrates ultra-high-strength boron steel and a protective cage for the passenger cabin, enhancing crash safety and durability under extreme conditions. This focus on stability addresses the challenges often faced by SUVs with high centres of gravity.
INGLO features a three-in-one powertrain integrating the motor, inverter, and transmission for efficient operation. Rear-wheel drive models deliver outputs between 170 and 210 kW, ensuring a dynamic and responsive driving experience. Intelligent vehicle dynamics, including semi-active suspension, brake-by-wire technology, and high-power steering, further elevate the handling and adaptability of INGLO-based vehicles.
