Homegrown EV maker Mahindra Electric on Monday announced that its EVs have together travelled 400 million kilometres. This has resulted in a reduction of 40,000 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions, the company said.  Its current product portfolio includes e4Ws such as the E2O Plus and e-Verito in the passenger market, as well as the e-Supro series in the freight segment, along with e3Ws such as Treo and e-Alfa in the cargo segment.The company recently partnered with Common Service Centers (CSC) to promote the adoption of electric vehicles across India and to enhance sustainable connectivity in the country. The tie-up will help the vehicle maker penetrate deeper into the rural market, the company added.
