Lexus India has launched the fifth generation RX in two trim levels, RX350H at INR 95.8 lakh and RX500H F Sport+ at INR 1.18 crore ex-showroom, India.
A press release from the company noted that its sales grew more than three times last year compared to 2021. With a vision to double its sales in 2023, Lexus India embodies the spirit of Omotenashi (in Japanese parlance: to look after guests wholeheartedly)and offers exemplary quality and craftsmanship to its customers across India.
The RX 350h Luxury is powered by a 2.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with a strong hybrid powertrain mated to a CVT, sending 250hp and 242Nm to all four wheels. The top-of-the-line RX500h F-Sport+ features a 2.4-litre turbo-petrol engine withstrong hybridtechnology, paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, producing 371hp and 460Nm of torque, with an all-wheel drive system.
Moreover, the RX series now features Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which comes with curve speed management added to dynamic radar cruise control and additional intersection support alongside a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, intelligent high beams, dynamic radar cruise control, road sign assist and lane tracing assist.

Earlier in the year, the company announced a price hike across its portfolio by up to 3.2%.
