We’ve seen the test mules doing the rounds and now it's finally here (sort of). The MG Gloster will get an update later this year and the car has been previewed thanks to the reveal of the South Africa-spec LDV D90. It is essentially a differently badged version of the Gloster and this is the car that will come to India.
The biggest change is a new face, which gives the car a contemporary look, while the wheels have also been updated as a part of the package. The overall silhouette has been retained and you know this is a new Gloster. There are only a few images of the cabin but from what we can see, there’s a new instrument cluster, new steering wheel, and a completely new dashboard as a part of the deal. The feature list for the car is expected to include more comfort-oriented options as the Gloster/D90 is already pretty loaded for the segment it is present in. Motivation will come from two diesel engines offered with an eight-speed AT and an optional AWD.
The MG Gloster is one of the big three-row SUVs undergoing a major overhaul, the other two being a new Skoda Kodiaq and an updated Jeep Meridian.
