Lamborghini Urus SE Launched In India At INR 4.57 Crore mobility outlook

Lamborghini has introduced the Urus SE to the Indian market priced at INR 4.57 crore (ex-showroom). This new launch is poised to redefine the luxury SUV segment, offering a perfect blend of high performance and advanced hybrid technology.

The Urus SE is part of Lamborghini’s ambitious Direzione Cor Tauri project, which aims to electrify its entire lineup. This SUV is Lamborghini’s second hybrid vehicle, following the Revuelto, and marks a significant step towards the brand’s goal of complete hybridisation by the end of the decade. The Urus SE is equipped with a 4.0-litre V8 engine paired with a 25.9 kW high-voltage battery, delivering an impressive combined output of 788 bhp. This setup allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 kmph.

Francesco Stadeoni, Regional Director for Lamborghini in the Asia-Pacific region, described Urus SE as 'the best Lamborghini ever.' He highlighted Lamborghini's sales figures, with the company breaking the 10,000-car mark in 2023 and continuing to see a 4% increase in deliveries in the first half of 2024. Stadeoni also addressed the broader environmental concerns, noting Lamborghini's commitment to reducing its carbon footprint despite its small share in global automotive emissions.

The vehicle boasts new matrix headlights, a redesigned bonnet, and improved aerodynamics, all contributing to a 35% increase in downforce compared to its predecessor, the Urus S. Inside, the Urus SE offers a luxurious experience with customisable interiors, an updated HMI, and advanced connectivity features, ensuring that drivers are always in control and connected.

Furthermore, the Urus SE is designed to cater to a variety of driving conditions, with multiple driving modes that can be combined with electric performance strategies. This adaptability makes it suitable for both everyday driving and more demanding off-road adventures, providing maximum versatility.
