Six months and one month respectively after they were launched, Kia has silently added minor updates for the Sonet and Seltos. Both cars get new a shade for their top-spec X-Line trim while also adding a new one below the top GTX variant for both vehicles.
New Colour
The new colour for both cars is called Aurora black and is the first time since Kia brought the X-Line trim that the automaker has added a shade for this top-of-the-line version. This, unlike the other shade, exclusive matte graphite, is a glossy colour on offer. The moves seem to reflect the fact that since many other manufacturers have jumped into the matte paint scheme race, Kia had to add something new to bring itself back in front again.
GTX variant
The other major addition is a GTX variant. For the Seltos, it sits below the GTX+/GTX+S variant and with it, you get features like ADAS, 18-inch alloy wheels, ventilated front seats and dual-zone climate control. In the Sonet too it has been a plan of feature addition by now adding items like phone mirroring, dual-digital displays, LED fog lamps and air purifiers.
