Kia Corporation has officially revealed the exterior design of the highly anticipated EV4 ahead of its world premiere at the 2025 Kia EV Day event in Tarragona, Spain. The new EV4 will be available in both sedan and hatchback variants, reflecting Kia’s vision of merging modern mobility with advanced electric vehicle (EV) technology.
The EV4 is designed to offer a progressive take on electric mobility, catering to customers who seek advanced technology, practicality, and a sense of exploration. According to Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design, the EV4 aims to redefine the conventional sedan by delivering a fresh, modern interpretation that suits diverse lifestyles. The sedan features a sleek, low nose with a long-tail silhouette, while the hatchback offers a compact yet dynamic stance for everyday versatility.

Both variants showcase Kia’s innovative ‘EV Tiger Face’ front-end design, which integrates vertically oriented headlamps with the brand’s signature Star Map lighting. This combination enhances the vehicle’s bold stance and modern character. The EV4 sedan features a low hood line flowing into a streamlined rear, complemented by a unique roof spoiler and 19-inch machined wheels. At the rear, a distinctive two-piece spoiler and vertical light units reinforce its wide stance and premium appeal.
The EV4 hatchback presents a more solid and contemporary design, with contrasting black vertical C-pillars, robust fenders, and geometric patterns on the lower body sections. It maintains the strong proportions of the sedan while adding its own identity through sculpted lines, wide-positioned taillights, and a sharply sloping rear window. The GT-Line version offers additional sportier elements, including wing-shaped bumpers and exclusive triangular-motif 19-inch wheels.
The full design and product specifications will be revealed on 27 February, followed by an official video release on the Kia Worldwide YouTube channel in March.
