Korean car major Kia has revealed the first official teaser images of the all-new Sportage, which is due to be reveased in July beginning with the home country.
Sportage, the fifth incarnation of Kia's most popular SUV model, has been designed to establish new benchmarks in its segment such as advanced exterior and interior design, connectivity technology, and efficient powertrains. The company plans to unveil a dedicated European version of the Sportage in September.
One of the key elements of the new model is Kia's new design language – Opposites United, which is at the core of the Sportage, influencing every aspect of its appearance and character.

The muscular stance of the new SUV gives a solid yet refined silhouette. Other significant changes include crisp character lines, a detail-orientated black grille graphic spanning the width of the face and slim daytime-running lamps.
The interior is designed to make the vehicle driver-orientated in terms of space and functional aspects, amalgamated with a sculpted integrated curved display.
Karim Habib, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Design Centre, said the company was inspired by an ethos created where nature meets modernity. 'With new Sportage, we didn't simply want to take one step forward, but rather move to a completely different level within the SUV class,' he added.
The company said it will reveal more details regarding the all-new Sportage design features in the coming weeks.
