Kia India has announced that its new Seltos has clocked 31,716 bookings in one month, for which the pre-bookings began on 14th July 2023 at prices ranging between INR 10.89 lakh and INR 19.99 lakh, ex-showroom, India.
A press release from Carmaker noted that close to 55% of these bookings have been placed for the higher-end trims (HTX onwards), showcasing new-age customers’ affinity towards prioritising premium features and driving experiences.
The new model was launched in an India exclusive -Pewter Olive colour which has become a hit amongst customers accounting for close to 19% of the total bookings till now.
Tae-Jin Park, Managing Director and CEO, Kia India, noted that the performance of the Seltos can be attributed to both the loyal existing customers and the new members who've embraced the Kia family.
“We are confident that the new Seltos will script afresh success story and expand the segment significantly in times to come,” he added.
