Kia India has commenced bookings of the new-gen Carnival in the country today, 16 September. Simultaneously, the Korean automaker has revealed the key specifications, features, colours, and variant details of the luxury MPV.
Set to arrive in the country via the CBU route, the new Carnival will be offered in two colours – Glacier White Pearl and Fusion Black. There will be two variants to choose from, namely Limousine and Limousine Plus, while the interior will have two dual-tone theme options, namely Navy-Misty Gray and Tuscan-Umber.
In terms of features, the 2024 Kia Carnival will boast all-LED lighting, power sliding doors, LED light bar on the tailgate, and a smart powered tailgate. Inside, the model will get a dual electric sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS suite, powered seats with heating and ventilation for the second row, three-zone climate control, shift-by-wire, dual 12.3-inch screens, 11-inch HUD, OTA updates, and paddle shifters.
Powering the all-new Carnival will be a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, diesel engine that generates 190bhp and 440Nm of torque, paired only to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The fuel tank capacity stands at 72 litres. On the dimensions front, the car measures 5,155mm in length, 1,995mm in width, and 1,775mm in height, while the wheelbase is rated at 3,090mm.
