Kia India has launched the Sonet Aurochs edition in petrol and diesel forms, based on the HTX trim, starting at INR 11.85 lakh in the ex-showroom, India. The Aurochs versions are powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that generates 120 hp and 172Nm, while the 1.5-litre diesel-turbo delivers an output of 116hp and 250Nm.
Available in four paint shades, aurora black pearl, glacier white pearl, sparkling silver, and gravity grey, the new edition comes with six exterior design iterations, which include a front skid plate with tangerine accents on the signature tiger nose grille. It also has an Aurochs edition emblem on the front to celebrate the almost 3-year successful journey of Sonet in India.
The cabin gets an 8-inch touch screen with Android and IOS connectivity interface, auto climate control, single-pane sunroof and rear air-conditioning vents.

Launched in September 2020, the Sonet has sold 2,41,369 units till April 2023. In CY23, the model acquired 37,518 new customers, with an average of almost 9,400 units a month.
