Kia India has released design sketches of its first SUV developed under the Kia 2.0 transformation highlighting advancements in design, technology, space and safety. The vehicle is set to provide a lounge-style interior with innovative seating arrangements and segment-leading convenience features.
This upcoming SUV embraces a forward-looking design that breaks away from traditional SUV structures. The vehicle’s exterior design sketches indicate a robust stance that aligns with Kia’s focus on modern mobility solutions offering a unique visual identity that balances strength with sophistication. Inside, Kia aims to create a spacious cabin that serves as a comfortable, premium environment, designed to cater to customers who value both function and style.
Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director and CEO of Kia India, stated that the model has been designed with a deep understanding of Indian customers’ needs, blending performance, design, and comfort to meet local demands. He noted that Kia’s design approach no longer follows the conventional SUV template; instead, it introduces a “new species” of SUV that will appeal to Indian buyers who prioritise advanced features and a high level of comfort.
Kia’s 2.0 transformation also prioritises safety aiming to incorporate advanced safety technologies within the vehicle to raise industry standards. The combination of premium materials, advanced tech features, and a carefully curated interior layout reflects Kia’s goal of delivering a comprehensive, future-ready SUV that elevates the driving experience.
