Kia India has announced that it is celebrating three years of its maiden product, Seltos in the Indian market. Notably, the Seltos was the first product from the company for the Indian market, and within the first two months, Seltos had established itself as the highest-selling SUV in its segment, helping Kia enter the list of top five carmakers in the country with just one product, a press release from the carmaker said.
It added that within one year into its launch, the Seltos crossed the one lakh sales mark in August 2020. Currently, it contributes to about 60% of the company’s overall sales, Kia India said.
Hardeep Singh Brar, Vice President and Head of Sales & Marketing, Kia India, noted that the Seltos demonstrated the company’s commitment to India and showcased its capabilities.
