Kia has officially unveiled the new Kia EV3 compact electric SUV that’ll sets new standards in the segment with its bold design, technology, and innovative features. Inspired by the brand’s flagship EV9 SUV, the EV3 will make it accessible to a wider audience. The EV3 boasts a best-in-class 600km AER (All Electric Range) and can charge from 10-80% in just 31 minutes, addressing common concerns about EV range and charging times. The vehicle is equipped with Kia’s AI Assistant, premium streaming services, advanced driving assistance systems, and Over-the-Air updates, ensuring an elevated ownership experience.
The Standard model comes with a 58.3kWh battery, while the Long Range variant includes an 81.4kWh battery, both offering impressive performance and efficiency.
The Kia EV3’s exterior design features Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, blending nature and modernity to create a harmonious and dynamic look. And inside the cabin is spacious enough for five people, with innovative features such as a sliding table, storage area, ambient lighting, and ultra-comfortable seats. The near-30-inch widescreen display provides clear graphics and intuitive information, enhancing the driving experience. Sustainable materials, including recycled PET, are used throughout the interior.
The EV3 is equipped with advanced safety and convenience features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Highway Driving Assist, and Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist. The EV3 also introduces Kia’s i-Pedal 3.0 regenerative braking technology and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging, allowing occupants to power external devices. Kia’s Digital Key 2.0 enables customers to unlock and start the EV3 using their smartphone or smartwatch.
With its innovative technology and digital connectivity, the EV3 offers a holistic suite of features, including premium streaming services, arcade games, and NBA team-inspired Display Themes. Kia’s AI Assistant provides new ways to interact with and control the vehicle’s features, enhancing convenience and productivity.
