Kabira Mobility has unveiled its second generation electric motorbikes, the KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II models. Test rides for the KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II Models are available at selected locations, with deliveries set to commence from March 2024 through Kabira Mobility's exclusive dealer network.
The KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II Models are the first in the electric vehicle domain to showcase an Aluminium core Hub Motor powertrain, a result of a collaborative effort with Foxconn. This cutting-edge innovation allows for an impressive top speed of 120 kmph and an exhilarating acceleration from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. The inclusion of a Modular Battery Pack further enhances the performance, providing a certified range of 201 km.
The KM4000 has undergone a comprehensive redesign, featuring a futuristic naked design that reflects the bike's technological prowess. Both models introduce a multitude of design enhancements, including an innovative frunk for extra storage, amplifying the overall riding experience.
Equipped with a 12kW in-hub powertrain, developed in collaboration with Foxconn, the KM3000 and KM4000 models boast India's first Aluminium Core Powertrain, delivering a maximum torque of 192Nm, a top speed of 120 kmph, and an impressive acceleration from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds.
Setting a new standard in the two-wheeler industry, the models feature a unique Modular Battery Pack design, enhancing usability and flexibility. Additionally, both bikes come equipped with a High-Speed 1.5kW On-board charger, enabling a 0 to 60% charge in under 60 minutes.
Safety is prioritised with Segment First Dual CBS and improved braking performance, thanks to larger Disc Brakes on both models. Showa suspensions, including a Telescopic Front fork and Mono shock Rear suspensions, contribute to a comfortable and stable riding experience.
On the launch occasion, Jaibir Siwach, CEO of Kabira Mobility, expressed his excitement, stating, “The KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II models are some of the most powerful and longest riding bikes in the market. The biggest feature of the bikes is our partnerships with industry leaders like Foxconn, Showa, and Jio, which have enabled us to develop and launch this machine, redefining the Electric Motorbike segment as we know it.”
