This latest innovation will initially be deployed as a UPS backup solution for an industrial facility in Pune, showcasing its effectiveness in large-scale energy storage.

JSW MG Motor India, in collaboration with Vision Mechatronics, has unveiled India's first high-voltage second-life battery with a homegrown Battery Management System (BMS) as part of its innovative ‘Project Revive’.

The battery comes equipped with advanced monitoring systems and high safety standards, ensuring reliability and sustainability. JSW MG Motor has demonstrated its commitment to sustainable mobility through multiple projects, including partnerships with BATX and IIT Delhi on off-grid charging and other second-life battery applications.

Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer of JSW MG Motor India, highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting a sustainable EV ecosystem, while Dr Rashi Gupta, Managing Director of Vision Mechatronics, emphasised the shared goal of minimizing carbon footprints and contributing to a greener future.
