JSW MG Motor India has announced the extension of its innovative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme to its Comet EV and ZS EV models.
Under this unique programme, customers can bring home the Comet EV at a starting price of INR 4.99 lakh, with a battery rental of INR 2.5 per kilometre. Similarly, the ZS EV is now available starting at INR 13.99 lakh, with a battery rental of INR 4.5 per kilometre. The BaaS model allows buyers to pay for battery usage per kilometre, significantly lowering the upfront cost of the vehicle.
In addition to the flexible payment option, the company offers a 60% assured buyback value after three years of ownership, providing further reassurance and confidence to customers.
Satinder Singh Bajwa, Chief Commercial Officer at JSW MG Motor India, said, “With BaaS, we have created a platform for easy ownership, making our EVs more accessible than ever. Given the strong response to Windsor under the BaaS programme, we are now extending its benefits to our popular EV models, the Comet and ZS.”
The initiative is supported by a network of finance partners, including Bajaj Finserv, Hero Fincorp, Vidyut, and Ecofy Autovert, ensuring a seamless and convenient financing experience for customers transitioning to electric mobility.
