JSW MG Motor India has announced the acceleration of seven promising startups focused on artificial intelligence (AI) in electric mobility as part of the fifth season of its MG Developer Program (MGDP). This initiative received over 100 applications from startups across India. The selected seven startups will work on developing practical applications that integrate AI with electric mobility.
The theme for MGDP Season 5.0, 'AI in Electric Mobility,' encourages startups to explore how AI can reshape both business operations and daily life. The seven chosen startups include Anuvega Powertronics, Aselector Technologies, Emerging Technologies, Gudlyf Mobility, Power Jet (EV Urjaa), Ravity, and Vocbot AI. Each of these companies will focus on specific aspects of AI and electric mobility, working on pilot projects that demonstrate how their technology can be applied to real-world challenges in the electric vehicle (EV) sector.
JSW MG Motor India has partnered with key organisations, including Startup India and Manthan (Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India), to enhance the program’s impact. Additional support from technology companies such as AWS, Exicom, Lohum, and DRIIV (Delhi Research Implementation and Innovation) has further strengthened the collaboration between startups and established industry players.
The seven startups selected for the program reflect a wide range of focus areas. Anuvega Powertronics develops power electronics and drivetrain solutions, while Aselector Technologies offers an AI platform for customer experience and process optimisation. Emerging Technologies is dedicated to improving safety and efficiency in the auto industry, and Gudlyf Mobility focuses on energy storage solutions. Power Jet (EV Urjaa) provides EV charging infrastructure, Ravity develops AI-connected mobility management platforms, and Vocbot AI offers a multi-lingual AI-driven contact centre solution.
