JCB India, leading manufacturer of earthmoving and construction equipment, unveiled its latest innovation, the JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master Tracked Excavator, at its factory in Pune.

The JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master has been meticulously engineered to reduce fuel consumption by 14% compared to its predecessor, delivering substantial cost savings to customers. Rigorous testing in Indian conditions ensures its suitability for demanding work cycles, allowing for greater operational efficiency.

The improved fuel efficiency is achieved through JCB’s Intelliflow Hydraulics technology, and real-time fuel consumption data is accessible via an onboard interface screen and through JCB’s LiveLink remote monitoring system. The enhanced fuel efficiency is estimated to save customers INR 2.90 lakh annually, while the new auto engine long idle stop feature minimises unnecessary fuel consumption.

During the launch, Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director of JCB India, highlighted the machine's innovation, stating, 'Innovation has been the cornerstone of our operations in India for over four decades. This new machine has been engineered to enhance the profitability of our customers through a significant reduction in fuel consumption of 14%. It will lead to a better return on their investments in today’s competitive working environment.'

In addition to fuel savings, the JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master is also 5% more productive, featuring a Power Boost function for tough applications and a quieter engine compartment for more comfortable and fatigue-free operations. Designed to excel in rock breaker applications, it also includes LED lights for improved work area illumination and durability.

Shetty further added, 'Through technology, this new machine will mitigate the impact of rising fuel costs. The JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master will be a trusted partner for our customers who are playing a key role in the creation of world-class infrastructure. This fuel-saving aligns with the Government’s focus on reducing fossil fuel consumption, which has a significant impact on our economy and the environment.'

JCB India has built over 45,000 tracked excavators in the country, ranging from one to 38 tonne, trusted by leading infrastructure development companies across India. These machines have significantly boosted the pace of work on projects of national importance, contributing to India's emergence as a strong global economy.
