JBM Electric Vehicles, a global leader in e-mobility and EV ecosystem solutions, showcased a cutting-edge fleet of four electric buses at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

The new models include the luxury coach ‘Galaxy’, intercity bus ‘Xpress’, India’s first low-floor electric medical mobile unit ‘e-MediLife’, and the country’s first 9-meter electric tarmac coach ‘e-SkyLife’.

This unveiling aligns with JBM’s commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2040 and the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, including good health and well-being, sustainable cities and communities, and climate action. Additionally, JBM introduced the JBM E-Verse, an indigenously designed EV ecosystem that integrates fast charging infrastructure, efficient lithium-ion batteries, and robust power infrastructure for zero downtime, providing end-to-end e-mobility solutions.

A Decade Of Innovation In Public Mobility

Nishant Arya highlighted JBM’s achievements over a decade in the public mobility space stating that the company believes the future of green mobility lies in blending innovation, sustainability, and user-centric design. “Our latest fleet addresses diverse needs, from luxury inter-city travel to healthcare services and sustainable tarmac transport. We envision serving over 20 billion passengers and clocking 3 billion e-kilometres in the next three to four years, delivering safe, reliable, and unforgettable experiences.”

JBM’s electric buses combine cutting-edge technology, enhanced safety features, and unmatched comfort to offer best-in-class total cost of ownership. With over 1,800 electric buses deployed across India, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, JBM maintains a robust order book of 10,000+ buses. The company operates the world’s largest integrated electric bus manufacturing facility outside China, located in Delhi-NCR, with an annual capacity of 20,000 units.

Safety Redefined

Safety remains paramount in JBM’s electric buses. Rigorous side-impact and rollover testing, along with advanced features like electronic braking systems (EBS), anti-lock braking systems (ABS), and disc brakes, ensure exceptional road control and stability. Optional ADAS systems enhance safety further, while battery management systems maintain thermal control. Other safety highlights include fire detection and suppression systems (FDSS), emergency exit doors, panic buttons, and vehicle tracking systems (VTS). Enhanced visibility through larger glass panels and hill-hold assist improves both driver and passenger security.

Sustainability & Innovation

As part of its commitment to sustainable mobility, JBM Electric Vehicles continues to push boundaries in EV manufacturing, addressing the diverse needs of public transport while reinforcing its vision for a greener, safer, and more connected future. By championing innovation and localised production, JBM is not just shaping public mobility in India but also setting global benchmarks in electric transportation.
