Jaya Hind Industries Pvt Ltd has taken a major step in advancing India’s manufacturing capabilities with the installation of the country’s largest 4400-ton high-pressure die-casting machine at its Urse plant near Pune. Sourced from Swiss manufacturer Buhler, this state-of-the-art machine marks a milestone in the production of complex aluminium structural components and redefines the standards of the die-casting industry in India.

The 4400-tonne die-casting machine is a breakthrough in manufacturing enabling the production of large, intricate structural parts that were previously unachievable in the region. This technological leap caters to the growing demand for lightweight and high-strength aluminium parts, particularly in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle (EV) sector.

Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Jaya Hind Industries, stated “The 4400-ton machine equips us to meet the demand for complex structural components essential to next-generation applications, especially in EVs. We are confident this addition will enhance production capacity and streamline workflows.”

The installation positions Jaya Hind Industries as a leading supplier to both domestic and international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). By aligning with the global shift toward lightweight and efficient materials for automotive applications, the company reinforces its role as a key player in the aluminium manufacturing sector.
