Jaya Hind Industries Extends Tech Cooperation With KS Huayu Alutech

Jaya Hind Industries announced that its existing agreement with KS Huayu Alutech GmbH (KSATAG) has been extended till 2027. The company established a technical tie-up with the German firm 12 years ago to manufacture automotive cylinder blocks and cylinder heads.

Jaya Hind Industries announced that its existing agreement with KS Huayu Alutech GmbH (KSATAG) has been extended till 2027. The company established a technical tie-up with the German firm 12 years ago to manufacture automotive cylinder blocks and cylinder heads. 

The objective of expanding and extending the cooperation with KS Huayu Alutech is to offer its customers the combined strength of partners who now have a global footprint and have synergised to provide critical products. Both companies, as partners, are now able to offer a unique combination of world-class technology from KSATAG at an affordable Indian cost structure. The agreement will also help foray into manufacturing several new components for EVs and chassis parts.  

Jaya Hind Industries is among the first companies in India to start manufacturing aluminium die castings way back in 1964. Apart from garnering expertise in the field, the company also has set up a modern and technologically advanced manufacturing facility equipped with state-of-the-art machines procured from the world’s best suppliers. It has four manufacturing facilities, two near Pune in Maharashtra, one in Chennai and another near Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

It caters to several companies, including Volkswagen, Cummins, Ford, PSA, Daimler, Volvo, Renault Nissan, Maruti Suzuki, ISUZU, Mahindra, Tata Motors, FIAT India and a host of Tier-1 companies. 

KS HUAYU AluTech belongs to the renowned automotive supplier KSPG, with operations in Germany and China. It has also been active in the Indian market for many years. Since 2007, KSPG has had a subsidiary Pierburg India operating in Takwe near Pune that produces bearings, pumps and components for emission control for the Indian automotive industry. This Group has also held a 20% stake in the Indian piston manufacturer Shriram Pistons and Rings.
