Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles have launched a new variant of the Jawa 42 Bobber in India. It is called the Red Sheen edition and the difference between this variant and the others is purely cosmetic.
As the name suggests, the Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen has a dual-tone red and chrome finish on the fuel tank and diamond-cut alloy wheels. The colour is bold and eye-catching while the alloy wheels are tastefully done. It does add to the road presence of the long, low slung motorcycle.
Powering the Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen edition is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 29.51bhp and 30Nm. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that has a slip and assist function.
The motorcycle employs a double cradle frame with a telescopic fork and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by a disc brake on the front and the rear wheel.
The Jawa 42 Red Sheen edition is priced at Rs 2.29 lakh, ex-showroom.
