iVOOMi Energy has opened a new two-acre manufacturing facility at Chakan, Pune, with an annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles with a key focus on battery and vehicle technology.
Previously, the company invested INR 200 crore towards product development, garnering necessary certifications, building team and infrastructure, and channel expansion. This strategic investment also facilitated the company in establishing three manufacturing plants that are fully operational and capable of addressing varied market demands.
Before this, the company had two facilities, accommodating various departments and production processes under one roof. While it currently offers e2Ws, it is also expected to launch an e3W.
Ashwin Bhandari, Co-Founder and CEO, iVOOMi, said the new plant has machinery and tools that meet global standards and seamlessly integrate into our existing production framework.
