Hyundai Motor Company has announced that its latest EV, Ioniq 6 delivers a WLTP — worldwide harmonised light duty vehicle test procedure —claimed range of 416 km with energy consumption of 13.9 kWh/100 km.
The drag coefficient of 0.21 is the lowest in its vehicle lineup and one of the lowest in the industry. According to the company, other design elements such as an active air flap, wheel air curtains, integrated rear spoiler and wheel gap reducers have enhanced Ioniq’s aerodynamics performance.
Based on Hyundai’s electric global modular platform (E-GMP), Ioniq 6 provides 800V ultra-fast charging from 10 to 80% in just 18 minutes and supports 400V charging without the need for additional components or adapters.
