Bangalore witnessed the official launch of Ecozaar, India’s first fully integrated marketplace for green products, on January 27, 2025. Developed by Ecofy, Ecozaar is designed to simplify sustainable living by integrating two key eco-friendly solutions—Electric Two-Wheelers (EVs) and Rooftop Solar (RTS) systems—into a seamless digital platform.
Unlike traditional sustainability-driven platforms, Ecozaar prioritises informed decision-making, ensuring consumers understand both the economic benefits and practical applications of green products. A key feature is its intuitive calculators, meticulously designed to provide clarity on electric two-wheeler range and capacity as well as solar efficiency based on climatic and geographical factors. These tools ensure transparency and precision, enabling users to make confident and informed purchases.
Ecozaar has partnered with major manufacturers, local partners, financial institutions, and insurance providers to offer a hassle-free purchasing experience. The platform also assists with post-purchase documentation, including RTO registration for EVs and seamless solar panel installation, ensuring a smooth transition for customers opting for cleaner alternatives.
Looking ahead, Ecozaar aims to expand its financial services by offering working capital and inventory funding to MSMEs participating in the platform, fostering deeper involvement in India’s clean energy revolution.
Dhanpal Jhaveri, CEO of Eversource Capital, emphasized the platform’s potential to accelerate India’s shift toward sustainable living, stating, “Ecozaar empowers consumers with informed choices, driving large-scale adoption of clean technologies.”
Kartik Gupta, CEO of Ecozaar, said, “We want to debunk myths that green choices are costly or complex. With Ecozaar, making eco-friendly decisions—whether purchasing an EV or installing solar panels—is as easy as clicking a button.”
Rajashree Nambiar, Co-founder, MD & CEO of Ecofy, said, “With over 60,000 customers onboarded in two years, we saw the demand for a one-stop solution. Ecozaar bridges that gap, currently serving four cities—Bangalore and Chennai for EVs, Ahmedabad and Pune for solar—with plans for nationwide expansion.”
