This strategic collaboration marks a significant leap towards integrating 3D printing into everyday applications, promising to transform the landscape of additive manufacturing.

Würth - Raise3D - Henkel

During the Rapid+TCT additive manufacturing event, Würth Additive Group (WAG) announced a groundbreaking partnership with Raise3D, a leader in 3D printing hardware and consumables, and Henkel, renowned for its adhesives and Loctite additive resin materials.

Since unveiling their Digital Inventory Services (DIS) at the AMUG Conference in March 2024, Würth Additive has been at the forefront of innovative inventory solutions. By synchronising their equipment, inventory platform, and materials with Raise3D and Henkel Loctite's 3D Teams, they have pioneered tailored and simplified product applications. One of the first beneficiaries of this collaboration is IMS Verbindungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, a leading provider of fasteners to the global automotive, aviation, and various other industries.

This collaboration transcends traditional 3D printing partnerships by fostering a synergistic relationship among OEMs, VARs, product innovators, industrial application engineers, and 3D printing end-users. By integrating their technologies and platforms, Würth Additive, Raise3D, and Henkel have created a seamless workflow that prioritises the end-user experience. Raise3D products will be sold through Würth's channels and integrated with DIS, utilising Loctite's tested resins for automated workflows and enhanced quality control.

Enhancing Customer Experience

The focus of this collaboration is to provide end-users with productive 3D-printed parts in distributed manufacturing. AJ Strandquist, CEO of Würth Additive Group, highlights the commitment to ease of use and accessibility: 'Raise3D is not just a partner; they are a powerhouse of experience and expertise, prioritising the end user's experience. Integrating our Digital Inventory Services (DIS) IoT Edge Device into their equipment opens up a world of possibilities, giving our customers complete control over their production.'

Edward Feng, CEO of Raise3D, said, 'Würth Additive is the ideal partner for future growth. Their DIS platform enhances the utility of our products and ensures they meet application needs. By combining our core competencies, we prioritise putting the customer first and providing exceptional value to AM users.'

Sam Bail, Director of Sales at Henkel Loctite, adds, 'Developing validated material workflows through this partnership ensures that additively manufactured parts meet customers' standards as they transition from digital to physical parts.'

Reflecting on the future, Strandquist stated, 'We are excited about working more collaboratively through this industrial partnership surrounding Digital Inventory Services (DIS) to better serve our customers. By integrating additive manufacturing into their digital supply chain solutions, we aim to make these applications accessible to the masses and continuously problem-solve to keep our customers always in stock.'

This innovative partnership between Würth Additive Group, Raise3D, and Henkel is set to revolutionise the 3D printing industry, offering unprecedented control, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. As these three leaders combine their strengths, the future of additive manufacturing looks brighter and more accessible than ever.
