Ingersoll Rand has appointed Sunil Khanduja as the new Managing Director for Ingersoll Rand (India) Limited. This leadership change extending for a five-year term reflects the company’s focus on bolstering its operations and market influence in India as part of a long-term growth strategy. In his new role, Khanduja will oversee Ingersoll Rand’s Compression Systems & Services business in India which a key segment in the company’s portfolio that supports a range of critical industrial applications across the automotive sector and other industries.
Khanduja brings a wealth of experience to the position having previously led major verticals within Ingersoll Rand India and managed operations across Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA) as Director. His tenure has been marked by a strong focus on operational efficiency, supply chain optimisation, and strategic growth. The automotive industry, in particular, is expected to benefit from this focus, as it relies heavily on reliable compression and flow solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
